MeshNotes is an online utility to create rich-text web pages quickly. Go to meshnotes.com to create a new page. The view URL will be displayed on top, in Edit mode. The page will stay at this URL forever. You can share and link to the note's URL - it will be there.
To edit or delete a note, use the Edit URL. This is your password - everyone with the Edit link can edit or delete the page. There is no way to recover a lost edit link.
Currently, we do not support collaborative editing. Feature requests are welcome.
- How long will my note stay online?
- Where's the SAVE button?
A: There's none. Everything is always saved.
- How is it different from Google Docs?
A: It's lighter, quicker and does not need a google account.
- How is it different from pastebin?
A: mmm, well, it creates web sites.
- How is it different from Windows notepad?
A: It's not unicode-broken, it's autosaved and it's in the cloud.
- How is it different than WIX?
A: Wix is an awesome platform for rich websites, with graphics, templates, etc. Meshnotes is a super-light-weight, and text-only (for now).
- How is it different from Wiki and Blog engines?
A: Not everytime you want to put a thought online you want a journal with dates. Wikis usually take more hassle, like user registration.
- Will Google see my note?
A: If you don't link it from places for Google to find it, we won't tell them.
